The card is small but very nice paper and envelope. I have given it along with a wedding gift of koi fish. So the whole reason for this card was because of it's feng shui significance. I am so happy that on the back of the card was an explanation that mandarin ducks play in the feng shui belief system. The piece of art itself is beautiful. I wish it was a little bigger. It took about a week or so to reach me. I got immediate feedback when I ordered.

Curious and Curiouser

Lucky for me, my husband is an excellent photographer and is able to reproduce my art work with archival printing. It looks exactly like the original and so I found it remarkable to be able to sell it this way. Also, I can always refer to something I have done in the past and continue working on the theme or get another idea from a previous work... I can go to my shop and see an overview which I feel is beneficial. I also enjoy cutting and pasting in the process of making handmade cards. Adding a nice piece of vellum inside makes writing more pleasurable for the writer. People who cherish nice pens will appreciate it and those who enjoy a good note will like to receive a greeting in an art card.

I have been studying art for as long as I can remember. Went to art school in the early 70's and have never given up my interests which are varied. I consider myself an illustrator but I will most definitely paint a portrait and my portraits are usually expressive ones of a dear pet.
